2012 Agility 125 Starting Issue
« on: April 11, 2012, 01:22:44 PM »
I live in Central Texas and purchased a new 2012 Agility 125 late last year.  If it’s below 65 degrees outside the thing will absolutely not start unless parked in the sun.  Are there things I could be doing to make the engine more predictable? What are the coldest temps your scooter normally starts at?

Other than this issue I’m loving my scooter and have already racked up 1,800 miles.

Thanks for the help.

As it's so new it must surely be a warranty issue? Take it to the dealers. Personally i think it could be simply a fuel mixture problem, too weak, or the choke/ bystarter isn't working.

I have 2 Agilities.... the wife's hadn't been run in months and wouldn't start with about 2K miles on it.  I changed the spark plug, started up right away.  Note to self: change plug every 2k.

Every 10.000 kms is more than sufficient.

Get a new auto choke on Ebay for 9 bucks. Sounds like yours is stuck open or the passage is clogged. Either way it is always nice to have spare parts.
