Need info for de-restricting a 2012 Agility 50. We own Kymco 2003 ZX-50 that I de-restricted using smooth boss on variator shaft & CDI wiring mod.. Crankshaft broke on that one so we are looking for a new one. I've read info on Agilty board and it seems like the CDI per the discussions is not restricted, but I've seen other information on the Internet where you use hacksaw on CDI. Man I'm confused about that! When I de-restrcited ZX-50 I had to cut some wires and jumper them on CDI. Any info would be greatly appreciated as well as What folks think of Agility 50. Also wondering if de-restricting voids warranty.

See if the dealer well do it for you.But yet again if the warrenty is a isue for ya I might wana keep hush about it. its easy to do your self but if ya have to take in for warrenty work you can always put back as stock.
