adjusting rear shocks
« on: April 14, 2012, 11:42:07 PM »
hi all!
I am a proud owner of a 2007 LC and its running great, much faster than my previous yamaha bw. The only gripe i have is that the ride feels very very bumpy compared. Streets of Montreal are, mostly to blame but I wanted to try adjust the rear suspensions if possible but I dont know how to do it. Does anyone know and can explain to a mechanical newbie like myself? By the way I am 5'11 and 200lbs. Thanks!

Hey there, can you please post a picture of your rear shocks? I just wanna make sure they are the same as the Super 8, if that is the case you need a spanner wrench.

..there is a very minimal adjustment that can be made to the s9 oem shock...hardly noticeable, really..

...oem, its softest...if you adjust, the ride will only get stiffer...

...however, the adjustment can be made at the top of the shock mount...
