Do not replace your T-Clocs with E-Clocs. "E" stands for "Eat Breakfast and skip checking your tires, and then move on to everything else."
Found my front tire to feel like mud this morning. Did the "hand check" on side of the road because I left my pressure gauge in my wife's scooter, and things felt just a little soft.
Got to work and got another gauge, and my front tire pressure was 5psi ??? !!!      :o
Rear tire pressure was 14 !!!   :o :o

So boys and girls, this illustrates that you should just skip breakfast and do a proper inspection. Because while no one has perished from skipping one meal, there are those that have caused themselves harm by not doing a proper vehicle inspection.

I learned my less today    ;)

I always carry a tire pressure gauge and a small bicycle tire pump in my box.

Vermont weeps...
I "kick the tires" before every ride. Bounce the bike once or twice to see if the engine is gonna fall out, wiggle the bars to see if they are gonna fall off, then put on my blind fold and race toward the sound of cars.
Every day I make it home is a blessing.

That's about what it feels like most days!  I check all of the above before every ride...especially with a 12" wheeled rocket that tops 60mph!!!! ;)

I usually have the pressure gauge, but bought an extra one so this wouldn't happen again. The small tire pump is a great thought. I think I may pick one up today. Thanks for the idea!

Haha... Well, that is a very personalized T-Clocs! When I got the scoot, I said that I would be right on top of all maintenance and inspections. I need to be here because Vermont roads are atrocious. I wish I had a camera to use on my ride to and from work. It would probably keep some people in their cars because of the rough roads and pot holes. I'm not more brave than others, but when it's beautiful out and on one 10 mile stretch you're the only two wheeled machine riding EVERY DAY, it makes you wonder. I'm sometimes amazed at how well my brain has memorized the route and road conditions. Weaving around certain pot holes, and riding certain lines through curves because of rough surfaces has become second nature.
