Since I've lived here I've seen one Black Panther, a Fox squirrel, every sort of snake including an 8' rattler as big around as a cantaloupe, and there are three black bears that live directly across the street in a TINY patch of woods. Today two women, and one older man waited about half a block up while the bears came across the street past my dogs kennel, and into the creek behind my house. there are also more alligators than I ever thought possible. Fishing on a small dock three-four years ago we saw a 5-6 foot gator get attacked by a Bull shark about 40feet from us. It is a natural heaven here. Forgot to mention the Bald eagles, and Kites. EVERYWHERE!
