Beta Ark
« on: May 04, 2012, 05:36:24 AM »
Don't know where to post this but I just need to know about the Beta Ark. There are lots of Betas in our country. Very popular with 2-stroke scooterists. It became more popular even before the dios and jogs. Lots of performance parts in the market and the styling looks great. Is it worth buying? There are some for sale in the market and I'm just...well, wondering....  http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/167678_1601202905782_1107349031_31318707_152427_n.jpg

Btw, flip flops and scooters are in...

Yeah, until you lose a foot, then you have to duct tape the flip-flop onto your stump  :D

Right this is the only thing i could find but its reviewing the 2007 Beta Arc 50 - One.
as far as i can tell its a scooter spliced with off road DNA.

right heres the short write up they gave it:

what can come out from the fusion between a scooter, born with an Off-Road DNA, and a raging Enduro 4-stroke¿ You can get the answer just mounting on the brand new Beta Ark RR Racing. The aggressive red flou coloring, and the racing graphics inspired by the RR Enduro 4t riding the World Enduro Championship, give the right energy dose to a sporty and aggressive scooter. Robust frame, brilliant engine, powerful double disc braking system, hydraulic fork, adjustable monoshock and… all the guts courtesy of a ready to race enduro bike: that’s Ark RR Racing successful key!

Thanks whiteknight. I'm more curious is any of you guys have experienced the beta ark. This scoot is quite abundant here and there are some for sale which are quite tempting.

Never either! I guess the key is what engine is in it.

If it's a Mina... Get it. I've been told the Mina is the Most tunable engine out there

And the FASTEST! Piaggio's 5.5 hp 2 stroke engine feels ALMOST like Kymco's 9.5 hp 125 cc up to 70 km/h!!!

The owner of http://www.spi-parts.com/ (louie) has worked with a bud of his to build a 31hp Mina using a Polini Evo made for a Yama Zuma. The bike is dyno verified.
