Reckon the main jet will be into the 90's in size on the open filter. I tried an 88 and it wouldnt get over 15mph, it just died and bogged down, i got about 10-14 jets here i bought over the last month from 82- 120  ::)

Got sidetracked away from the open filter with my belt destruction issue so i put it on hold and refitted my stock airbox for now. I finally sorted my belt prob tho now, i think, so plan on tunin in the open filter again soon. Reckon i need somewhere between a 92-96 now, which i have but just didnt try yet.

Let me know when your doin the jetting and if you want any jets i can post you some down if you want? if i got the size u need and i dont need it myself then you can keep it and post me the rest back up? Saves you spending out and havin a load of useless jets sitting there  like me lol  :D

Also 2000rpm torque did not work on my A50, no matter what roller weight i tried it was terrible. I actually lost speed going uphill instead of gaining, and i mean lost it, 5-10 mph slower  :o Course if you run the 80cc kit it may work then, i am still on 50cc's. Why not buy the 3 set of springs, 1000, 1500 & 2000? 1500 is my fave on 5.5g rollers, with the 80cc kit it will prob work out differently tho i guess? I got a red 2000rpm spring somewhere in my garage, if your not in a rush for it i can look next time i get around to having a clean up and send you it if i find it, its no ise to me anyway, think i threw it off the back wall somewhere in disgust lol  :D
Chaos is my co-pilot.

87cc on a GY6 China engine. OEM pipe, and a 20mm OEM type carb. The only other thing changed is a set of DR Pulley 8gr sliders. Before I took off the speedo it was running 57mph, and cruised real nice at 50. It's not much quicker than 49cc but a lot more pull to it, and a better top end. It used to top at 42-43. Oh yeah the Biggest difference is the up hill. It would fall to 15-20 up small hills, and now there is NO loss as long as I twist it up to keep speed. I have about 100.00 bucks into it.
Do yourself a GIANT favor... Clean up the piston. Mine had Razor sharp 90* skirts, and a sand cast finish on the piston crown. I used a belt sander with 220 grit to get out the casting marks, and 22.5* beveled the skirts to allow the oil to force between the piston/cylinder vs scraping it off the cyl. walls. I would also use emory paper, and a thick pane of glass to verify the head, and jug are machined flat. Mine was NOT. There was a .002" gap between the cylinder, and the timing chain housing. I block sanded that flat on the glass, and used two base gaskets to keep the piston from hitting the head.
Install a new oil pump, and take your time on breakin. Mine took almost 250 miles before the rings stopped chattering. Besides one burnt exhaust valve it has been fine. I reused my 49cc head, and am having valve seats installed in the 50mm head. The 49cc head works fine too. No real difference except for a tiny bevel in the 50mm that the extra base gasket took care of anyway. All together I have about 3/12-4hrs into it.

yea good thinking zombie.. but what do you mean by jug? obviously i know what the head is but i dont know what the jug is.. i'll take your words of advise and use em wisely. the kit im getting (80cc kit) comes with the piston gaskets and everything else.  will make sure to check the piston rings and such if i need to finish there job for them.

Jug=Cylinder
Forgot to mention the end gap on the rings. Set the top one to .006", second down to .004", and the oil rings to ,002".
If they are SLIGHTLY bigger OEM that is ok on a 4t but NO smaller

Ps. I sprayed the glass, and paper with PB Blaster. It keeps the paper stuck flat, and helps cut the aluminum quickly. Just re spray to remove any aluminum that builds up.
