You are right! Same with the "it's the economy" crowd. There are more jobs than ever (as long as you don't mind working), and the Economy is just fine. Banks are holding onto "loan" money is the problem the Whiners are having. Kinda the "fool me once" syndrome with the FEDS. I work on luxury TOYS. Very few people need a boat. 2 years ago I was complaining about the economy due to foreclosures/no loan money in the banks/and the BP oil mess. The tide has turned tho, and so far this quarter I have done the same amount as I did all year in 2010. I have "acquaintances" that get drunk, and bitch but I would rather walk off than stand and bitch slap them till they open their eyes, and shut their mouths. The tax rate is going to explode on us tho. There is soo little wise investing done by the US. Lower taxes mean less teachers first. Welefare will be fine but our next generation will be to ignorant to apply so I'm not over worried. That is the short sighted nature of the American government. 4 years for the BOSS! Lifetime for the employees?(congress). WTF? Keep the idiots that F'ed it up forever, and let the smart one GO?

Well, that's not accurate. The "boss," so to speak, is actually Congress, truth be told, and most of Congress (the House of Representatives) are up for re-election every two years, and are constantly in campaign mode, from the day they are sworn in. So, their mouths are searching for the money c0ck, in perpetuity. And they usually find it, and suck it like champs.

The Senate's members have 6-year terms, and are harder to unseat, but the Senate rules are stupid, and keep a lot of thangs from happening because they ARE so stupid -- one person can hold up an appointment, for instance. One!  And in secret!  No Mr. Smith Goes to Washington filibusters, anymore. All the opposition has to do is threaten one, and the other side caves.
