All day every day here Bro! NYC is littered with deceased people every morning. I was born/raised there. Homeless pass away. Junkies OD. Gang-bangers bang. Mobsters dump em. Goths kill themselves. Punks kill goths. Dominicans kill blacks. Blacks kill blacks. Blacks kill Dominicans. Puerto Ricans kill everyone.
I could do this all day. The Irish?   We loot!

Enough Bro... A lot of tourists visit big cities to see and experience the greatness of the place: scenery, food, shops, etc. but fail see the realities of every place. No country is exempted from these realities including mine. This world really sucks!

Most European countries are exempted from things like these and we do not have such "`hoods", homeless people, gangs, violence etc.

Incidentally, we do have 25 % VAT, 40 + % marginal salary tax, 20 % pension fund insurance, 15 % health insurance...

Usually, low taxes/"free market" and disrupted social structure go hand in hand with things described above.

Living between Heaven and Hell, you tend to get glimpses of both.
I did it and I'm glad.

Axy... You added up to 100% tax? A few times?
I don't get it. How can you afford monkey bait?

I got many good bits of advice from my elders when growing up.  One of them was Iron Clad with no qualifications:  Whatever you do in life, Never set foot in New York City.

No, YOU have added it up.

Taxes like health insurance are here a cost on top of your gross salary and effectively employer`s contribution.
Income tax goes on one`s gross salary.
VAT is paid when service or good is purchased.

So, these taxes are not "added". As for monkey bait, I`ve lured you in, that`s enough for now.  ;D ;D

I could link you to about 1 million issues with european society, but I dont need to, just go to anywhere in london with the wrong team name on your jersey. You just cant tell me there is a 100% safe place anywhere on this planet. NO WHERE. Europe is in such sh** with its economy and problems, it makes me laugh thinking how good we have it in our free market. I have my A/C on right now with my front and back door open like I dont give a phuck. You know why, because I can afford to and I want to. I also pay for my own health care, same thing you do everytime you get paid. What do you call a tax for health care? Its called paying your monthly premium. Well you know what, when I dont pay my health insurance for a month, I dont go to jail for evasion of taxes. I can go on and on about socialist health care and its plentiful down falls. If the medical panel doesnt think you need dialysis, guess what, you dont get it, thank you socialism.
Simple facts, theres a reason the rest of the world hates the US, its because their lives suck so bad they have to try to make someone else feel bad for being happy and doing well. Even if I was broke, Id still be ok thanks to my government. Ho many people died in europe last freeze? 10, 20, 100? And you dont have a homeless problem? Bwahahahahaaa, go yank someone elses chain.
Sorry to jack the thread, its unfortunate some body builder freak did this to a poor nice guy, but dont say that a whole society is bad because of it. I dont think all Germans or Austrians are genocidal maniacs because of Hitler.
Pssssst Psssst, Hitler is from Europe not the US or anywhere else in the world, but Europe. Tell me what is worse than Hitler?

I think that is why we all talk about it here... Why is the world a sh** pile?  I would REALLY like to know!?! Even the Thugs pretend they are not thugs.

WHY?

Two Hitlers... ;D
