I'll get on this soon, too tired tonight, had a busy weekend and not much sleep so its catching up on me now. 9:30pm and im going to ned with a book for an hour, then having a big sleep till the morn
Lovin the Lloyd Cole stuff, saw him and the Commotions live in Glasgow around the late '80s, great voice.
I got some weird musical tastes, was/am into Ska, punk, indie, underground, rock, hip-hop, but i guess my favorite 2 bands where Happy Mondays and Stone Roses. We had what was known as the 2nd summer of love in the UK in '89/'90 (i think). Everyone was into long hair, flares, flowers and day-glo all over again, it was immense, and these where the 2 biggest UK bands in that scene at the time.
I had some of the best days of my life from '88-'92, it totally changed my worldview and outlook on life, everyone should go get lost for a few years and find out who they are and what they want from life.
These days i can listen to anything just so long as its well made or has an edge or passion to it, hard to find in todays music i think, or mayne i just dont have the time to dig thro all the sh!t to get to the good stuff underground? Will try dig out some corkers tomorrow if i can, i got some real beauts in my locker. If i put it on and the wife hates it then i know it must be good
