I 100% agree Calo... All the paint/glass in the world mean nothing if this bugger doesn't haul ass. I'm pretty confident tho, it has sent the speedo needle off the dial without even getting into the power band. (3/4 throttle).
Since it has rained all day Here I actually slept... F'n GREAT feeling. I did get the first coats of paint on the console piece, and am pretty happy with it. I couldn't finish it due to cool weather, and HIGH humidity but for a "base" it looks all right.
The first thing I did was to figure the mounting. I never once put a tape measure on any of it. There are a few mounting tabs on the bars that had to go, and the tabs that held the Light housing needed to be cut/bent to work. Those, and the cut outs I made to fit over the bars are 100% perfect. I used some #8 machine screws w/ rubber grommets, and the cut outs are going to be rubber mounted as well. This system should protect my gauges from vibration. Here's the picts...

Here's one I forgot... The new paint for the floor pan... Since I primed the pan with Awl Grip Epoxy primer... There is no need for HI dollar paint here. I used Krylon "Camo-Colors" rattle can spray.
The subdued color matches real nice with the rest of the "theme". Thanks for looking guys.
The next deal is prepping the frame for paint/brace bar. Then the engine... Oh boy!
