If you guys have tried the AirHawk seat cushions or one of the many gel ones can you recommend one for the super8? I am looking at the airhawks but do not know which size to get and am worried they don't last very long. Thanks for the input, Oh and I did do a search and couldn't find a breakdown of info for the super8's

This is a mesh seat cover for the s8. Not a cushion. The mesh provides space between your butt and the seat surface so air passes thru.  The purpose really is for cooling. I don't know if this is available in your place though.

No , but I just had my seat reworked or reupholstered. I took it to a auto-shop upholstery and added 2" to the front elevation and tapered it down to 1/2" in rear. the sides just taper off.
I was shocked to see seat apart. The plastic you see from bottom only had 1/2" thick layer all the way, LxW. No wonder butt hit hard on the bumps.It was not what I had imagined it to be.. On the cheap side I would say. But to take care of slope I added 2" thick foam to front and tapered off to 1/2 in rear. Of course you are raising seat height and it is noticeable but if you can afford to gain seat height it is definitely worth it. I am 5'8"  with  a 30-31 inseam and no prob. It cost $135 and it may or may not be too costly, especially if you are unsure about keeping scoot. So I am liking it and very pleased with the idea,you may have something you would like more. But, don't think you are going to shave some foam out ,,,there is not enough to shave. Above all choose a reliable upholsterer, be sure to ask when you will get seat back.javascript:void(0);

I have decided to go with http://www.buttbuffer.com/default.asp and have them professionally install this in my seat. I will let you know my impressions once it get it back (hopefully this week) I attempted to order one from Airventusa.com which apparently does not exist anymore because I am currently in a paypal dispute with them due to non response. All tel #'s are disconnected for that company so hopefully I can get my money back. But I called up Butt Buffer and talked to Peter Hemmerich and I feel really good about their product so we shall see.
