2 new parts suppliers...
« on: May 21, 2012, 10:48:37 PM »
I recieved my order from Treatland today... These guys are Super cool http://www.treatland.tv/ I have asked them if they will set up a forum discount for us, and they are happy to monitror our traffic to their store to see if we can establish a discount. So PLEASE call/email them for every part inquiry. They are Mainly Moped related but they carry near every carb. part on the planet. As well as the most common needed parts for us. Give them your business, and get a discount established for all of us.
The second shop is for the ZX'ers. http://www.td-motor.com.tw/ These guys are well aware of the sh** parts JW/Carlos/Taz/are selling out of China "claiming" they are Taiwan parts. They have all the GOOD Taiwan made BBk's for Dio's INCLUDING the Imposable to find Water Cooled Dio kit. COMPLETE! I registered with them as an Importer/dealer, and can post MY COST on this as their is NO contract. I have three different kits on the way, and will let you know what I get. Here is the price sheet

I've decided the Vruk is going to be a WC 2t. The cases I cut for the Ruima are now useless for anything smaller than 50mm so I can either weld back the material or use the wc 50mm kit. Guess which one?
I have a dual battery set up in it with an isolator, and every light is LED so running an electric pump is a non issue. The kits should arrive in 2 weeks or less. Here we go AGAIN!

I've been trying to post the price sheet with the images but cant seem to get it compressed enough. If anyone wants a copy of it just PM me, and I will email it to you. Anyone can direct order, as long as my company name is listed as the referral. http://cens.com/cens/html/en/product/product_main_51131.html .

I have ordered from treatland.tv before..
Good place.  ;)
Not many items we can use but ALOT of parts.  ;)  :D

WOW, i do like the td-motor place.
IDK if those are the prices you posted?....
If so, some nice ass prices. Are you sure they fit the AF-16 we have?...(seemed to just say DIO)
Their web doesnt show any, have to inquire with em.  ::)
Annnyway, nice find.  ;).....

You may remember diospeedemon from the other forum back in the day...(know he was youtubing it)
He has the only? documented build going that big..
It was a big success i might add........but it dropped off the earth so i wonder if it ever held together.
That would be the "brass tacks", the "shiznit" on a zx.  ;) :D

The ZX parts are all listed as Sym/Dio. Nothing Kymco. I ordered the Water cooled 54mm, the stroker 50mm, and a 39mm oem bore. The prices are real, and correct. We'll see as far as quality goes... I talked to treatland for about 1 1/2hrs, and they are willing to extend the discount of 10%. Real cool shop they run there. They will order anything we need, and supply the discount on special orders. If something is Not listed on the site give a call, and they will hook us up. Plus you get a vintage base ball card in each order. Cool!

Yo Zombie...

how did you come out with the parts from Taida ?

oddly enough, they do have a few Kymco parts. The JR 100 is a Kymco 100cc 4T scooter.

the scooter motor is a bottom mount like a 139qmb, has a 50mm bore and 51.8mm stroke, 13mm piston pin. cylinder and head use the std 54mm stud spacing of a GY6 125/150, but use a shorter cylinder (64mm) compared to a Gy6 (69mm). a standard GY6 125 head fits fine.

The base engine is same as the Kymco Mongoose 90 atv.

mongoose has same stroke and a 47mm bore.

those JR 100 big bore cylinder kits should bolt right on the Mongoose engine with a little enlargement of the case opening.

thanks

I received the WC kit, and the Rad, and Jug are nice the hose is junk. Same for the Elec pump. Piston is cast, and way rough. But for the cost ... I think it's fair for what I will use from the kit. My other two kits have not shipped. Still...
