Yours was more of a burn up than a burn out. Here is one of my favorite burnouts.

This may be a retarded question but since I can't figure it out, how do you do a burnout on a scoot? I can't seem to get a grasp of holding down the front brake lever while at the same time working the throttle... Would I need to install a brake line lock?

It's all about "no fear of death". You do have to hold the front brake, and twist the throttle at the same time. I can get complicated quickly...

I try not to do burnouts... try. Sometimes when the pavement is moist I find it hard to control myself :D. I never do it more than a few seconds.

Main thing is you can't really have any of your weight on the scoot. Push down on the front suspension right as you twist the throttle. Don't whiskey throttle whatever you do :D :D ;D

Tried it, and i agree, DONT try it on gravel  :o

Tho i have a little backroad i use for testing/tuning and theres a small dusty, gravel farm track runs off it, if i keep my front wheel on the tarmac road and my rear on the farm track then it works well. That farm roads also good for doing rear skids.

I like to pretend im Goose from Mad Max too, but thats optional  :D
