24-hour Clock on the GT300i
« on: May 22, 2012, 07:32:08 AM »
I just became a People GT300i owner last week.   Having a clock on the dash is a nice touch, but I could only get the clock to show 24-hour time (0:00 - 23:59).   The owner's manual (which I was disappointed with) suggests it can show 1:00-12:59 AM/PM time, but gives no clue as to how that might be done.   Have any GT300i owners gotten the dashboard clock to switch from 24-hour mode to AM/PM mode, or is that just a fantasy?

I was just about to ask the same thing. Anyone know the answer? I just got my scoot 2 days ago and all I can say is wow! This is a great machine.

Me too! It gives me only Military time & no AM/PM. My old Kymco People S200 @ least gave me regular time! Any insight from GT300i owners?

AM / PM is just as outdated and confusing as the "imperial" system.

It's still showing correct time, doesn't take a lot of math skill to figure it out if it can't be switched to AM/PM.

Cortez: Just going by what the manual says on page 14. Understood. No AM/PM.
