Crank case leak

Hello,
 I took my Yager to a mechanic to get my front tire adjusted, and I ended up leaving with some 15gr sliders  ;D ;D
 When the mech took the cover off, he noticed that my crank case looked to be slowing spraying fluid. There was what he considered to be a small collection of trans fluid (I thought it was quite a bit). He also noticed that my belt, crank case, and variator/clutch were all extremely hot. So hot, that he had to wait until they cooled down. He said this wasn't normal, either; but I had just driven 55 miles one way to his shop at 55-60 miles per hour. The scooter had only rested for about 10 minutes.
 Looking for opinions on what people might think the crank case spray might be, and if the heat being given off by my drive systems are normal considering the conditions that my scooter was ridden on during the ride to seem him.

P.S. The kicker to this whole ordeal? I just found out by my dealer that the sliders will void the warranty unless they are "OFFICIAL KYMCO" sliders.

A friends 150 China scoot was too hot to touch after 1/2hr of riding. His problem was there was no fluid left in his gear case.

Leaked?  Are there other warning signs? like different sound perhaps? oil on garage floor? other than finding it out upon opening the cover?

Never even thought of that. I'll probably swap old for fresh anyway and see what I get.

No oil on the floor. I've noticed the belt seems to slip a little bit after riding for a bit and the scooter is good and warm. But this seems to only be when I am starting from a stop.
I was pretty bummed when he showed me because if anything major needs to be replaced, I've heard it can take two to four weeks for part to come in and the work to be completed.

The transmission seal may be leaking . Mine leaked onto the wheels and tires because I overfilled it . Had the seal replaced , it's ok now . Good luck .

Some have reported that an over-filled gear case will cause oil to go the air flter.  Maybe you should check you air filter.

I need to leave my scoot for a good 15mins or so if ive been riding then want to work on the variator. If you just pulled up then he went straight to work on it then it would be hot in there after a 50mile ride? I either need to let mine cool down or wear welding gloves.

If it was still burning hot after 10mins tho maybe it is an issue, just warm or a little hot and it may be fine. Doesnt explain the fluid in there tho  ???

Get a can of carb clean, and remove the torque drive assembly. You can clean the seal, and get the numbers off of it. Those numbers are the OD/ID/Width of the seal. Any good auto parts store can match it up for three bucks. You can remove the old one with some picks, and install the new one just that easy.

I'm going to send my Yager to the dealer and make them do the dirty work and fix my leak. If it is going to cost me any sort of money, I will tell them to put it all back together and I will take care of it. At that point, I will run with Zombie's suggestions.

UPDATE: I swapped out my gear oil. It is supposed to hold 180cc, but I only got 120cc out of it when drained completely (couple small globs mixed in). So, I said "AHA, that's it!". But, I then injected the fresh, synthetic gear oil and took off down the road. I came back home and it looked like nothing was leaking.
Problem solved? NOPE!
I took the scoot to work two mornings later. Everything felt smoother, which was nice. But after the hour long ride of 50-60mph, I noticed more "oil" or something was collecting near the rear "vent" (idk what you call it) that houses the belt, etc. This stuff is BLACK and THICK. It isn't greasy, it's just oily. The trouble is that I have no idea where this black oil is coming from. My engine oil and gear oil are both pristine. My thought is that maybe my gear oil could be mixing with the belt dust on the inside and the black oil is the product of that? Any thoughts?

Sounds like grease thrown out the torque drive like zombie said but then you said it doesnt appear "greasy"?

It is the input shaft seal leaking. That is the shaft the clutch is mounted to. The reason it's black is the belt dust. It will leak more when it heats up, and thins out. The seal is three bucks at the auto parts. You can do the whole job in two hours (never doing it before)
