OK, I am looking to buy a Mongoose 300 or 250 or possibly even a MXU 300 for my girlfriend. The lack of info on the internet about the changes is frustrating. I am hoping that you guys can clear this up for me. Here are my questions:
1) Apparently the 2008 and up Mongoose 300 are 2 inches wider each side than previous models. What was the widths before and after the change?
2) Did the MXU 300 have the exact same changes in 2008? Same widths before and after as the Mongoose 300?
3) Did the Mongoose 250 have the exact same changes 2008? Same widths before and after as the Mongoose 300?
4) The one video I found of the DVX300 Arctic Cat mentioned widening 1" each side in 2009. I guess it doesn't correlate to the Mongoose exactly, but I could be wrong??? Not sure on widths before and after on those???
