have to replace it.
anyone done this already??
can you replace thwe whole pump insead of rebuilding it.

Stadium Yamaha... The whole pump is sold as a unit. (or you can just buy the wear parts, and new shaft)

Hello again

Found the pmp is working, Something is telling the fan to turn on at ignition. Must be a relay or sensor. Any help??

Well if it is relay controlled it is either a sticking relay or bad sender. Find the temp sender, and disconnect it. That should stop the fan unless the relay is stuck closed. I would replace the OEM relay with a Bosch anyway. They are cheaper, and available everywhere.

Am looking for a diagram.Someone must have doctored this.

I've never worked on an S9 but I would imagine the sender would be mounted in the head. I think there should actually be two of them. One to control the fan, and one to send the temp to the dash gauge.
