Just a couple picts of the cabin rented. There are two there. The pool is directly behind them, and the river/gulf is in every direction. The park is a peninsula. I'm trying to get my Bud Carlos the Hippie to join the forum. He manages the joint, and any/all questions he can give the real deal on...

The owner is a full time partier. Dogs allowed. He tries to bring in an Upscale Crowd but winds up hanging at the pool house with all the beer drinking buddies, and the Upscale'ers drive on by.   Carrabelle rules! You gotta try to come on out here. It will be lonely just me and Slinger/Maybe Bats!

I'm words ride! Got a 12' utility trailer, and an extended cab dulley dodge. It's about 5-6 hr ride from Slingers. The return caravan date has not been set. Some time before the world ends hopefully... We would love to have you come down.
Lodging is paid/ I have plenty of access to offshore/near shore boats/ Their is a "cook shack"/pool house with fridge so eating is cheap. Hell everything here is close to free. Gas Grass Beer are the main expenses. I have a few jet ski's, plenty of fishing gear, loads of scooter spare parts...
The best part is riding 60 miles in any direction, and not one traffic light. Lots of historical sh** here too. The oldest complete canoe ever found is sitting in a warehouse a few miles east. It was found in a lake bed in the middle of Tallihasse. Loads of pottery/arrow heads... stuff like that

I don't see any reason I can't tell my teachers I'm goin out of town for a week. Like I said it would be my second week of the semester. Better that than the first... I guess

I would have to be back for class on Tuesday the following week though  :-\
