My 2008 agility had an 80 jet from new, my friends A50 had an 80 also, far as i know all agilities have an 80 jet as standard, at least incthe UK.

Not a big problem, only cost you a couple of quid and now you know you have the correct jet in. Keep the new 82 and drill it out if you ever need a larger jet, ie if you fit an open filter etc later.

Short answer, no.

My Leo Vince didnt give me any more speed but it does feel like it gained a little mid-range power, but that could just be my imagination playing tricks on me cos it sounds louder.

Race variator and cvt tuning are the simplest ways to gain speed, or get a 72cc kit, or a bigger engined scoot. You will struggle to get much over 50-53mph showing on your A50 speedo without major mods and major expense and time imo.

My 2008 Agility bought in the USA came with a replacement 82mm jet.  I have been too chicken to open up the carb and see what size came in it, but I am sure it is 80mm.

Its honestly easy to change the jet OD, i was the same when i did my 1st one but it really is quite simple, you cant really go wrong.

80 may be ok but it could also leave you slightly lean. Kymco recommend an 82 after derestriction.

..dad lives in oregon, which i believe is a semi-wet climate?

..yes?..no?..

..if so, an 80 might be more appropriate...

Well om on an 82 here in Scotland where its pretty wet and damp at least 40%-50% of the time and my plug comes out perfect, nice and chocolate brown. Think im almost sea level or just slighy above, on the wet days i do lose some power and top end but dry days its perfect. Think if i went down i would be good in wet weather but a little lean on the dry days so i err on the side of caution. I ride slower in the rain anyway, at least on the bends anyway  :)

..you didnt hear me say this, but a lighter tan color would result in a bit better response...

..the 4ts are a lil more forgiving than a 2t, when it comes to a slightly leaner, long-term setup...

..it also seems to reduce performance loss in wetter weather, when the oxygen level is lower due to all the moisture..

..now, i reckon i'm speaking more about with a free-flow air filter...

..the oem airbox setup isn't nearly as sensitive...

Yeah i meant like milk chocolate. Kinda like a cup of hot chocolate coloured, it is like a tan not dark brown.
