At Last! A windscreen that DOES NOT require removal or modification of the front trun signals on USA models. Bob Hedstrom of Scooterville in Minneapolis Minnesota invited me over today to install and check out a new windscreen. It installed in minutes and works GREAT. ESK, does the screen fit well around the headlight? Of course I just rec'd my ER MAX screen this week! I didin't like how the Puig fit around the headlamp. When I get around to changing the blinkers I think the look will be cool but I'm not looking forward to the tupperware portion of the process

Yes, it fits well around the headlamp. Not quite as exact an openning shape as my Givi: http://www.justgottascoot.com/peoplegti300.htm#WindshieldChecker but very close. The mounting was VERY easy and one gains about an inch of rearview mirror spread.

I just got the Bondi windscreen installed on my GTi 300 at Scooterville in Minneapolis.   I rode up to Minneapolis from Rochester (about 100 miles) to get it installed.   I must say the return trip (with the windscreen) was a much more pleasant experience than the ride up.   The Bondi windscreen is a minimal screen, meaning you see over it and what it mainly does is deflect the wind from hitting your torso.   You still get wind noise on your head (unless you crouch down right behind it).   Since I do most of my riding around town, I prefer to see over the windscreen; however if I were doing more highway cruising, I probably would consider a larger screen that you would have to see through, but would eliminate most of the wind noise around the head.   Too bad someone doesn't make a windscreen that you can size adjust on the fly.   Then you could make it full size for highway cruising, and smaller for around town.   However, for my main usage, the Bondi seems to work well and looks great as well.

I am 5'11.  The top of the Biondi windscreen sits exactly 7-1/2 inches above the existing black 'cowling' (if that's what its called) that's comes standard with the GTi 300.  As far as my height is concerned, it could be a couple inches taller and I'd still be able to see over it comfortably.

Interesting observation on the effect of getting the Biondi windscreen for my GTi 300:   I gassed up just before I rode up to Minneapolis (from Rochester) and after the windscreen was installed gassed up again in Minneapolis and rode back down to Rochester.   The trip each way was 110 miles.      The wind all day was 8-10 mph from the SE, so I actually had a tailwind riding up and had to fight a headwind riding back down.   My MPG on the way up (before the windscreen was installed) was 67.   My MPG on the way down (after the windscreen was installed) was a little over 80.   I had heard that getting a windscreen can increase MPG, but that is quite a significant improvement!   My average speed (I was taking mostly back roads through small towns) was around 60 mph.   Now, I also had my oil changed when I got the windscreen installed, but even so, I'm quite pleased with the MPG improvement the windscreen seems to have caused, and I hope it continues.

P.S.  I also noticed the scoot seemed a little more glued to the road with the windscreen.   I suppose the effect of the wind "pressing down" slightly on the windscreen (and the scoot) could account for that.
