What I don't understand is why nobody mentioned a Deltran Battery Tender Jr. for this issue! I have owned countless motorcycles & scooters & every one had a tender attached to the battery.

Let me tell you...I never needed to replace a battery when I had them on a "float charge"

For those who may stumble across this old post. It was the stator and it took me 7 months to find a dealer who could get me one !! Seriously, so if your wondering where I've been. I've been riding it with the new stator waiting for it's next break down. that's right...I'm back...JL
