Ive called around to dealers to get parts for my carb and they ask me if its a kehin or mikuni Ive looked and looked it clearly doesnt say what kind it is wouldnt you think the dealers that sell kymcos would know the littlest info
any helpwould be good

The dealers know nothing on what they sale for theam its just cash in there pockets.

That's the biggest pain in the ass when it comes to buying parts, they have no idea what they're selling half the time do we really have to know. Aaand when we do order the right part we have to hope they ship the right part... going through this with some jets I ordered right now from jetsrus.com.

I have to send the jets they sent me back to them for the return and include one of my original jets so they can match it up and send me the correct ones back, which is ridiculous considering I ordered these from the section of their site specifically designated for 139QMB jets...

And dealer prices suck big time.. Normally mine is 2-3 times more expensive for simple parts like belts or a regulator etc. I only use them if i have to now.

Hey guys its the scooterman
I finally decided just to buy a new one instead of replacing it with a 19mm carb instead of the stock 17 mm
i believe this will improve my overall performance

o ya that well work try to get a 82 jet also. even a 20 mm carb well work great.

Hey Scooterman,

Curious how that 19mm carb worked out for you?

I see those sell for around $40 online and claim improved performance over stock. Interestingly, I've only been able to find the stock carb for about $180.

Sounds like most people recommend new jets if you get the 19mm replacement. Anyone know of any other concerns with jumping from the stock 17mm to  the 19mm?

You most likely will NOT need to rejet these. The appropriate jets (as per size) are installed.

Just swap, and go.  Do a few plug chops to verify the jet is good for your bike. I have never had to change what comes in the carb tho.

going through this with some jets I ordered right now from jetsrus.com.

I've never succeeded with jetsrus.com.  They're picky about credit cards, and grumpy about everything else. I've had the best luck with pjmotorsports.com who stock jets for everything and they're easy to deal with. PS: it really helps if you have a micrometer to size the outside measurements of your jets because many jets are similar in size.  PJ's on-line illusrations are exactly correct.

I never used Jetsrus either... I find them cheaper on Ebay
