Sound like a cvt issue. Check the rollers are not worn, the belt is within its tollerance width, the clutch pads condition - they may just need sanding with some paper if theyre glazed or dirty, also lightly sand inside the clutch bell where the pads rub, check clutch fly springs are ok and give it general clean out with a dry paintbrush or some cleaner spray.

If that doesnt work then check the throttle cable moves with the grip by looking at it at the carb as your twist the throttle on the stand. Could be its worn or sticking.
Chaos is my co-pilot.

You can always open up the cover and give it a clean out,  either with a spray cleaner or even just a paintbrush and without dismantling the whole thing, might help short term till you can get an impact wrench, if it is just dust and dirt.
