Scooter parked - Tropical Storm Debby.. -More Photos-
« on: June 25, 2012, 01:05:10 AM »
Unfortunately we are having some rain here in Florida this evening due to Tropical Storm Debby so the scooter is parked...

This would be lots of fun to hit on the scooter:

And a short video clip taken with my cellphone 15 minutes ago looking out the window:

I love watching scooter clips of cars stuck in floods and scoots zipping right through.

Moving boats for three days... High tides from the past weeks wind, and Debby are making a mess. Gotta go back out now to make sure pumps are running

I hope you stay safe, and not too much damage!  We winter north of you at Port Richey & it looks pretty rough!

Take Care,    Ed

Thanks - bad weather is mostly past us now and hanging out up north near Zombie..  Still have heavy rain and flooding predicted for our area but the high winds and tornados should be finished.

It'd real dramatic here for sure... We have had a South wind for the past week blowing 1/2 the Gulf up here. Add the surge from Debby, and most boats are sitting on top of their docks. Lots have broken loose, and a few dozen are sunk. Looks like the repair gods are smiling for the next few months. I REALLY need a qualified helper.
As far as the "critters"... Found a 7' rattle snake on the front porch this morning. Actually the cats found him. It was so cold, and soaked it wouldn't move. I caught him up in a cast net, and brought him back out into Tates Hell. I figure he found the right house ...This time...
Well back to it... Bailing, pulling boats, getting them off the docks, recovering "floaters", and setting oil boom around the sunk ones. I Love boats.
