I'm hoping someone can help with what might be a really easy question.
I have a Kymco People 50, 2 stroke, 2005 scooter that stalled a couple times today. It was serviced about 2 months ago, it's ridden regularly by myself or husband to commute to work 10 miles per day round trip. It's been 100 degrees for the past 3-4 days and today it stalled twice while my husband was riding it; once when he was stopped and once when he was riding, not stopped. He took it to a car garage and they told him there was a hose loose. I'm not convinced that there is any problem and that maybe it's just too hot. It did hit 102 again today, very unusual for us (Colorado) especially in June.
I asked him to show me (I'm the mechanical geek or geek wannabee in the family) and here are the photos. There is thin hose that looks like it's attached near the gas cap, runs along the fuel tank and then it's not connected to anything. Is this a problem? Could this be causing the stalling? We had a new battery put in when it was serviced two months ago and it has been running like a dream. Anything special that needs to be done in hot weather?
Thanks in advance.
