Sounds like you're going about things the right way!  It's definitely a super-nice clutch.

Next time you're out this way, I'll let you ride my Super 9.  Then you'll be able to imagine 12,500 RPM. :P

..installing is easy as well, you just need a smaller driver...

..start at this angle, and just stretch spring, while pushing it down the driver..

..tried the HOCA bearing spring base...

..knew there was a problem while installing, because i couldnt fully compress the torque spring by hand...

..it won't work until i take @ 1/4" off the top spring support...

..this piece bottoms out on the bearing base, which results in belt slippage, lower top speed and way high rpms over 45 mph, with no further increase in speed...

That piece winds up sitting too high if installed on the 107mm set up It sits about 4-5mm too high on the pulley. You can modify a Malossi plastic ring to fit the pulley side, and use the bearing set on the clutch side. This set up turns a 1500 spring into a 2000 so you may want to try a Good 100 in this set to equal a 1500

..dont really want to increase my contra that much...

..that's why imma cut the top spring base down enough that it won't interfere with the HOCA base...

Josh has posted about those drive sets. Says they are plain weak. Malossi/Polinni both have drive sets in 107mm but I think they are around 400.00 retail. I'll look, and see what I can find for you. I need a set myself. Kind of asap.
