I went to Az, USA in Aug once, 115(f) dry heat! Dry heat my ass, it felt like I was in a pizza oven.

I know what you mean about it being humid but heat is heat after it gets to about 100.

103 degrees with 45% humidity has a heat index of 119. That's what it was here on friday. And 45% humidity isn't even that high.

..we frequently have 60+% humidity...

..at 38 right now...waay better than th last cpl days...

.. "cold front" went thru today, only providing drier air, not much relief in actual temp...

..felt better, at least..

I saw that it go up to 109 in Columbia yesterday with a 123 heat index late in the day.  It was even 103 down here at the coast.

Has been in southern Indiana, too. Over 100 for the past 5 days. Yesterday I rode my scoot in a parade and today went on a group ride. My scoot did fine in the heat, probably better than I did. Fortunately the humidity has been much lower than normal for this area, so instead of feeling like you're riding in a sauna, it feels like a pizza oven.

My wife works for a heating & air company and the phone has been ringing off the wall.

Put in 128 miles on Friday wearing my mesh jacket and slider pants. The official high at National airport was 104. Highest temp ever in month of June. Down in Culpeper it was 108. Washed my stuff today (go figure!) Putting the armour back in was entertaining. That 15w-50 oil is paying off in spades :)

My AC went out last Thursday evening.  I called the AC company and they came out in about an hour and fixed it by replacing a capacitor.  I was AMAZED at the service.

It was expensive though :-)
I did it and I'm glad.

Mostly stock scoots shouldn't have any trouble with the heat. Vehicle manufacturers make sure their products work in all types of climates. It's when we start adding all these aftermarket parts that climate changes the performance. Which is why I am a believer in keeping things stock most of the time. Much more reliable. Next car/truck I buy will stay completely stock. Unfortunately I couldn't deal with a stock 50cc scoot.

I just went out for a leisurely Sunday night ride on some rural roads and man it was nice. I rarely go for leisurely rides. Still warm when I was still, but when I got up to 50 it felt great  ;D

Been toasty in the Midwest too.  Last Thursday had a 112 degree heat index.  I usually look forward to riding my scoot to cool off, but when it's that hot, the faster you go the worse it feels....like getting hit with the heat from a blast furnace!
