Damn -- wouldn't wish that on anyone, but it doesn't look like he lingered when passing. Maybe the lesson here is to avoid passing something like that on a turn where you can't see far enough ahead, causing you to move slower than usual.
Once I was almost run over by a huge tow truck -- the kind used to tow 18 wheelers. I had pulled ahead of him on a 50 cc scooter when we were next to one another at a stop light, then our two lanes merged into one. I could see he wasn't happy being stuck behind a scooter in my mirrors, so I gunned ahead and pulled around a tight curve. There was another red light, and something told me to pull over to the side. Good thing I did -- the truck driver barreled around the curve and completely ran through the red light like it wasn't there. Had I'd been in the lane he would have run me over.
