Green wire does absolutely nothing on mine. Plugged in or not.

After upgrading my air intake and exhaust, do I need to make any adjustments to my oil ratio?

I'm planning on switching to a full synthetic. Any suggestions on what oil? I'm thinking Amsoil or Motul.

No adjusting is needed. Make sure the v notch is set within the line at full throttle, and you are fine. The oil you should use will be rated for Injection systems, and they all work between 50-100:1 ratios. Better oils leave less carbon so Use one that will put you in the poor house. It saves money in the long run.

I've been using Honda 2T and Lucas 2T in it.

So, I went with the Technigas pipe and a Uni filter. Where do you think a good place to start the jetting at would be?

Anywhere from 150 down. Try a few big ones first. 150/140/130/120/ Then try to dial it in closer

Someone here bought one. It turned out to be a Pilot/main, a couple spacers for the needle, and a bunch of jibberish instructions on how to build an A bomb. Not worth the money... Go to treatland, or Jets r us. Get a sh** load for the same money

We put my Technigas pipe on this weekend! I LOVE the way it sounds!
Also put in 5g rollers (to be replaced by Sliders when the come in)

We put on the Uni filter, but the largest Jet we had was running lean, so we put the stock airbox back on, and drilled about 5 holes in it.
The sound with the Uni filter on was very loud. Louder than I was wanting, actually, so I think I'm just going to stick with the airbox on.

Love the way it sounds, and the take-off and top end have shown improvements!

Is there a better filter I can use within the airbox?

I thinking I might do a hotter ignition coil. Any recommendations?

As well, toying with a CDI as well. I'm wondering if it would be much of an upgrade on this 2008? Or would the extra wear not be worth it?

Alright, I broke down and ordered a CDI and ignition coil.
I just hope I ordered the right parts! I couldn't get much info on the ignition coil.
Everything should be in this time next week!!!

All of those orange coils are supposed to be hotter than the OEM so that should be fine. CDI's are hit, and miss... Mostly miss. But they are cheap so it's no foul.

Added a new CDI, hotter ignition coil and 5g sliders!

Gain an easy 3-5mph!

Not sure what I think of the CDI. The curve is a little more aggressive than what I would like.

Also, can a new CDI need a bigger jet? I seem to be running a little leaner than I was.
