Are starter bendix and starter clutch the same thing?
« on: July 11, 2012, 10:05:11 PM »
My starter motor is not turning over the engine.  Do I need to investigate the starter bendix?  Is that the same thing as the starter clutch.  Also I removed the two holding bolts on the starter motor but I can't pull it out, why not?

If you can hear clicking when you hit the starter, the starter relay is fine, your
starter motor probably went boom.

Good news is, any GY6 125cc starter fits, you may just need to take the plate
off the back of it with the holes for the mounting.

That's what I did anyways.
Mine died too.
