Service Engine light

Like 200i with 1200 miles, one scheduled service for fluids and and hardware check completed. I always use premium fuel with no ethanol.
Last week it was 105 degrees and humid here in middle TN. After a 20 mile ride avg 40 mph with some 50 mph moments I noticed service Engine light at a intersection. I shut the bike down and restarted. No light and engine sounds and moves the scoot just fine.  Today it was warm and rainy, bike running fine but light went on once after about four miles at 30mph.
Same thing.... shut bike off and light goes off and finished 20 mile ride to work. Bike sounds and runs perfectly. 
Fuel? Humidity? Heat?
Suggestions?

I heard there may be a CPU flash that may need to be done.  Google "Philadelphia Scooters" and give then a call (or your dealer).  They can at least explain what the light coming on may mean.  I read in the manual that it will come on if the engine is over rev'd.  The example I think they used was if you are riding down a long hill.  Sorry to hear of your issue.  Good luck with this.

Start the motor.
Turn off the ignition.
Turn the ignition switch to ON
- the check engine light comes on for 2 seconds
- after light goes out wait prox. five seconds for the light to flash twice (indicates it received the self-diagnostic request)
- after the flash twice wait a few more seconds to see if it illuminates with long (1 sec.) and/or short (rapid) flashes in a repeating pattern.

Yes I did that exactly and will repeat that process when I get home. I also disconnected the battery to reset the computer. The light reacted like you described but I did not look at the final flash  sequence you described.
I have not ridden the scooter after the battery disconnect and probably won't until next week (vacation).
What should I learn from the light pattern?

Disconnecting the battery may have cleared any memory.  If you see a pattern maybe can find out what it means.
