Look great.  Is it 2009?  Because my 2006 People 250 looks very much the same.

Yup its a 2009.  I'll be starting on some mods here before long.  I plan to add Stebel horn, LED indicators and tails, either HID or a complete projector retrofit, GIVI top case, and perhaps an upgraded variator.

If I'm not mistaken... the 06-09 are exactly the same. I havent found any body style changes that I can see. I own a 2007, and it looks exactly like the 09s.

Do you like the S250? I am thinking about trading my S200 for the S250. I'm looking at the black one just like yours. Are there any storage areas up front or just under the seat? Is there a helmet hook under the seat? I love my S200 but I'm looking for a little more power without losing the agility and maneuverability for around town.

Lisa, unfortunately, just under the seat and this storage is shorter than it should be because they put the battery under the seat and not in the tail section as on my ex. Piaggio Beverly 200.

I notice that People 50 and 200 have a small storage space in the fron too.

Also, it cannot store integral full sized helmet. :(

I REALLY like the S250... its a good quality scooter at a better than average price.  The performance is really good, acceleration is pretty surprising for a scooter.  I mainly got mine (had the agility 125) so that I could ride 2-up easier, and it works with 2-up very well.  As axy has stated, it only has storage under the seat and it wasnt deep enough to store my full face helmet.  It is plenty large to fit a jacket, gloves, and several other items (I fit a 2 liter drink and a few other things on top of my jacket in there) but it just isnt deep (tall) enough to fit the helmet.  I wouldnt let that deter you though... you can always get external storage.  From what I've seen, most built in storage is lacking in at least on eof the three dimensions to fit a FF helmet.  I just got the GIVI E55 to store two full face helmets AND to fit groceries and a LOT of other items and it looks great!  I took a ton of pics of the topcase mounted to my scoot here: http://www.scootforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=145&t=689

One thing I increasingly dislike is the suspension, that is too soft at the rear end, easily hits bottom point and then bounces off once or even twice, even at the hardest setting. Some people say that it is "too hard" and I disagree, on the contrary, it is too soft.

It behaves worse than Agility 125 on a bumpy road and much worse than all other scooters I ever drove including my ex. Beverly 200.

If you check the service manual, they consider a person to be equal to 55 kg, and two persons equal to 110 kg.

The problem is that I alone have 103 kg at the moment and my gf has 85 kg, so we are almost four Taiwanese. :) (currently both on a diet and losing weight, if I may add).

This has a great impact on how the scooter behaves, especially when riding two up.  This is something to be seriously considered by all who plan to buy S250 and I did not notice that people talk about this on the forum... or maybe I am the only riding two up often.

I agree there is a noticeable difference in the way the scooter behaves when 2-up but it hasnt really caused me any problems.  Have you tried something like this: http://www.scooterworks.com/YSS_Performance_Shocks_People_P6644C557.cfm ?

I have to admit I ride two up during holidays, during working days I use my scooter to commute to work and she uses hers.
These shocks are 300 US$, when you add shipping, 10 % import fee and 22 % VAT on top of everything, it comes to a considerable amount of money. So, I did not try them. :)

Oh wow, yea that would certainly drive the price up.  If I get to where I'm riding 2-up often enough, I might try them out.  If I do, i'll let ya know!
