Thinking of buying Kymco Agility 50

I am thinking of getting a Kymco Agility 50. I have narrowed
it down to a 2013 honda metropolitan or the Kymco Agility 50.
I have seen neither in person but I am a 6ft rider and the Agility
looks bigger than than the met plus it is $600 cheaper. Is the
Kymco brand as good as honda? Will it last as long with proper
care and maintenance. How long will it last? Is it restricted?
Just some question I have. What better place to ask than a
Kymco owner's forum. Thanks for any replies.

I have seen a lot of met.and they are restricted a lot. they can be a pain to get up to the right speed.
I would say ya try a kymco but only if you can get the parts fast.around wear I live its hard to find parts and I have the agilty.So it come down to resurch for ya. the met you can get parts from faster I would say the kymco thats a little iffy.

I can get parts were I live for both the met and the agility. There are also
certified kymco dealers within 40 mins by car. The honda shop is in the
town that I live in but there is a motorcycle shop in town that can get
Kymco parts and said they can work on them. As far as restricted I do not
have a license and the state law says a moped can not exceed 30 mph or
it is a motorcycle and requires a license. I just want something to ride I miss
my motorcycle.

lol............. the law says a lot of things. its the same here to im 53 years old and been rideing 50 cc scoots that go over 45 sense I was 14......... only got pulled over twice that I can rember..........

I too had an Agility 50.  Bought it for my wife,  but she never rode it.  I did
ride it,  in fact 11 miles one-way to work several times.  I never found a spacer
to remove in the drive, but I did cut the CDI wire and could get 45-50 mph if the
wind was just right.   I now have a GV and Xciting 250.  So getting on a 50 or even 125
is a smaller package.  However,  you'll find the Honda Metro even smaller.  Regardless...
these days dealers rarely stock everything.  My advice...Spend the money and order
expected and necessary parts ahead of time.  (ie. Oil Screens,  Drain Plugs, air filter, etc.)
Most order from Stadium Yamaha in Texas.  Usually takes 2 weeks for delivery.  I guess
that's why I have 2 bikes.  However..I rarely drive the car.   Only issue with my Agility
was cold weather start-up and warm up,  but you may not ride in winter.

is this the dealer telling you this and can you trust theam thats the thing finding a dealer that realy has and can get the parts.It is just a sales thing to theam telling you taht so they can make a sale.  Been there done that...................

Hmmmm... maybe I'll get one for my wife too.. and she won't ride it and...
