12V Outlet?

Has anyone installed one?
On my other bikes, I usually use the Deltran Battery Tender ring terminal harness wired to the battery so I can charge the battery and also a female cigarette adapter for a phone/GPS.




What's the best place to install the 12V outlet on the Yager?

That's one possibility but then I would have to run a wire (for phone or GPS) all the way to the trunk. I rather do the opposite so it's always out and available without needing to open the seat or met-in (what kind of name is that anyway? ).

If you are going to install it somewhere that is exposed I would use one that is weatherproof. I got one from O'Reilly Auto Parts and installed it on my GT 300i.

I am just surprised that Yager owners here have not installed one.... it's so useful.

I'm probably on of the few people in the world who doesn't have or uses a cell phone so I've never considered it. My wife and I have a track phone in our car but haven't used it in years -- the number probably doesn't work anymore. I Just have a maps under my seat, or google directions and print out a map if I need to go somewhere.

haven't taken the trouble to do any measuring, but with the battery in the back of the seat compartment and the desire to put the plug somewhere on the front panel, i'm guessing you'd need somewhere around 6 or 7 feet of cable. does the unit you posted have that sort of length?

The one I used has a 17 foot cord. That should reach anywhere on the scooter.

I can't remember perfectly but it may be too short. An extension may be necessary.
