.i think streido is running a 736 belt, and has a damn good performing scoot!!..

WAS running a 736-17-30 Malossi kevlar but not now since it started coming apart............but thats another story.

With the 736 i got similair results to running a stock bando on a shaved boss which i what i run now, 736mm belt got me over 50mph downhill on the speedo. The only slight issue is you lose a little take off speed since the longer belt starts off very slightly up the variator so will take off in a higher gear. For me i didnt mind it, lighter rollers helped it so it wasnt that bad.

Now run a stock 729mm belt with a 36.8mm boss and that feels better for take off again, with 5.1g Malossi rollers i dont feel any lag in take off now but i still get 50-53mph downhill on a good day.  ;D

usually, and almost always requires further cvt tuning to get it's full potential tho..

..........................for now  :D

Isnt it a little wide?

Know its only .8mm or so wider but i guess that may just work in with the shorter boss, hmmmm, now im thinking......

Going away on hols on Fri so i'll have to wait till afer then but i may welltry that one out very soon.

Got to worth the price of a belt to try it anyway

..the a50 driven pulley is pretty much the only unrestricted oem pulley set left, so it seems...

..all the oem 2t's have the hump after 2004?...maybe some of the less common 4t scoots have good pulleys..speculating...

...the boss/vari/weights, and belt, can be adjusted to whatever driven pulley / clutch / torque driver setup you start out with...

Next time im in the cvt i'll get a gauge on my rear pulley and see the exact width at the lowest point, that will let me see the max width belt i can use.

Thinking again tho..........the longer, wider belt will keep the rear pulley in a lower gear at start but will be in an even higher gear on the variator than i have so im not convinced  :-\

My Malossi was longer and thinner and ran well, not sure how a longer wider would work out. Have a longe belt here now but i think it was like 20mm wide so be too wide.
