back tire..........

when my scoot is at idle and up on the center stand there is a little rattleing comeing from the tire hub.
is it the wheel bearings or could be a sign that its low on gear oil. When I take my hands and move the tire left to right just a very little it gos away. ya I know the tire should not move left to right at all. its not much just a very little. Also when the scoot is off the center stand it goes away. What might it be and should I worry about it.

has old blue broke something should have put a 20 on you braking the wheel.
i think most scoots have a little play in them side to side. could be wrong though. could be a the wheel berings on there way out or just a little dirt.just gives you an excuse to strip down and have a play.

..well, for pete's sake!!..check the gear oil, and eliminate that factor...lol..
..you should not be able to move your wheel, when facing it from the rear, any perceptable amount left to right...

after I changed the gear oil I also gave the Nut that holds the back tire on a good tug it did go thighter a little so maybe that was it. I will just ride to work which is a short distance to see how it holds up.

Could it not just be the brake shoes rubbing on the drum?
