Help with 09 agility 50.

I am loseing power, won't idle at stop's and is backfireing any body have an idea why this is happening. Please help oh yes I changed the spark plug but no help.  Thank's for any help.

right....compression test, check valve clearance and adjust (if needed)   clean the carb out and check all fuel lines. also check the sas (secondry air system) if that isnt hooked up properly then that can lead to backfiring. i would say check your valve clearances and run a compression test.

Depends what set up you run? Is it stock or modded?

It has been derestricted and a bigger jet on carb and the black box in battery compartment sliced to cut wire, It has been like this for three year's with no problem's also seem's like rear cluch is sticking. I'm wondering if black box is the problem?

Check for a manifold leak, that could account for the idle problem at least.

The "black box" is the cdi, i would doubt it is anything to do with that myself.

Also check fuel and air filters too, again i doubt its that but worth a quick look to be sure. You may want to clean out the carb too in case gunk is blocking the jets.

..do check that air filter...

..do you perform any regular maintenance on your scoot??
