Looking for Exhaust Assembly

Hello my fellow riders......
I was out riding this weekend when I busted up my exhaust assembly. Apparently the upper bolt came off and the assembly broke. I would like to find a basic stock assembly. Could someone point me in the right direction of finding a basic (and cheapest) replacement. Also...how hard is it to replace if I had a friend help me lean the bike to the side to get to the bottem portion of replacing the assembly?

Check out stadium Yamaha online for a stock Kymco exhaust and ask for their 15 % discount for Kymco Forum members. There are two bolts that hold the exhaust to the engine on the bottom. You can reach them without having to lean the bike over. Just follow the exhaust to where it attaches to the bottom of the engine and you will feel the two bolts on either side of the pipe. Good luck!

TY SO MUCH. I'm also wondering if anyone knew the size of the top bolt which holds the muffler assembly on. That is the bolt I lost which caused the muffler exhaust to break off and I need to replace it.

The bolt I am needing is the 96001-06008...I think. I just don't know the exact length. Would anyone know for sure? OR....will everything I need come together with the assembly? And how about the gasket near the motor? Should I get one of them since it doesn't look like it comes with the assembly? Thx in advance.

The bolt is about 2.25" long, but it can be an inch longer than this and still not interfere with anything and yes, you should get the gasket.

OK....I found a mechanic who thinks he can weld the neck of the muffler back together. I'm hoping this will do the job instead of having to spend $200 on the muffler assembly. One thing I learn is to constantly check all bolts each time I check tire pressure. Does anyone know if a weld job will fix the muffler neck as long as the weld job is done right?
