You will need to mod up a cover for it if riding in the wet or rain. Mine came with one that worked ok in a small shower but in wet weather the scoot died and it couldnt go over 30 or past 1/2-3/4 throttle. I made a better cover up out the bottom of an old 2L plastic Coke bottle thats been fine since, even in real heavy rain.

Not ran mine for too long so not sure about how its goin to be in the cold over winter, guess i'll find out soon enough tho.   :-\
Chaos is my co-pilot.

Already have a spare 2  l bottle made up for it. I keep in the scoot for a rainy day.
I was thinking of cuting a hole in the bottom of the seat box and put a elbow like hose on it so it well be under my a_ _ on wet days .

To get the best filtering, most open air filters need filter oil, but that depends on your type of filter. :)
First Kymco agility 50 (2008) 11.000+ km (dead)
Second kymco agility 50 (2010) 20.000+ km. Project Fuel Injection. Stolen.
Kymco K-pipe 125 (2014) 7400 km.

i had to do that to fit my polini filter, its a bit of a beasty filter and wouldnt fit via "conventional" means..so OUT came the saw and i got to work on the seat. just need to direct a hose from the outside and into the seat so the filter has some air getting to it.

Should work fine, if you use a hole-saw and cut a 50mm hole in front you can run some 50mm flexi hose into it from outside, maybe even cut another 50mm hole in black plastic under the front of the seat and run the hose from there.

takes up your storage under the seat but I would rather do that then have the storage.
I was mainly thinking of doing that only threw the winter when the weather is colder should help the scoot run and start better but i want mine a little more farther up under the seat.

yea only did that because i had no other choice.  i will be running some hose into the seat so it has cool air at all times. i have adjusted the angle of the filter so it sits nearer the outside, runs fine at the moment and makes a hell of a noise  ;D
