the fuse that is buld in to the switch is on a small wire just befor the switch its self that gos to the battery..........
You mean that you installed the switch with the built-in fuse very close to the battery ?
If that's the case then there's probably nothing wrong with it indeed...
Not trying to be annoying here, but as a professional who has seen too many dangerous contraptions built by hobbyists who were often convinced they'd built something completely safe, I'm always a little paranoid about these things... Most people don't see all possibilities for spectacular faults until you show them - and I used to be one of them before I started my career some twenty years ago, I know what I'm talking about....
