Body Mods and Rims...
« on: August 21, 2012, 05:43:13 AM »
Ok, so I know I'm a complete noob when it comes to Kymco's...  But, I read back all the way to posts made at the end of 2010, and haven't been able to find any links to websites that offer any cool aftermarket plastics or lights.  I didn't do a search, per se, just kept reading and reading so that I could familiarize myself and prevent from asking questions that have already been answered 2,498,254 times in previous posts.

Btw...  How do I de-restrict my Agility?  KIDDING!!  Please, don't hit me...  I bruise like a peach...

Anyway, are there any cool aftermarket body parts for our Agilities?  Headlight variations?  Tail light variations?  I love the way the scoot looks, but thought they might have some stuff like they have for my "older than dirt" 99' Zuma.

2009 Kymco Agility - 50cc
1999 Yamaha Zuma - 50cc (sold but not forgotten)

I thought exactly the same thing but couldnt find anything  :-\

I didnt spent too long looking but i didnt even find a sniff of any body mods or lights. I was looking for a modded headlight and some clear rear brake lenses. Think most folk need to fab up some themselves really.
Chaos is my co-pilot.

you are better off trying to find a used scoot for parts. As far as lights you can hook up lights right to the battery but make sure you have a fuse and a off and on switch wired to it. the fog lights they sale at walmart works great I have a pair I hook up for night time works good to see the road kill.........I hooked theam to the front of the scoot wear the reflicters are at on the scoot.

Kymco dealer stock all body panels and the price is pretty cheap really. I got a complete floor/foot panel last year for about £35 brand new from my local dealer. Rear mudguard was under £20 too.

Yeah sure, if you like your scoot to catch fire at the first wiring fault, that's the way to go.....

Always connect your "experimental wiring" behind one of the existing fuses and use a large enough wiring gauge.

A short circuit is something that has a realistic chance of happening, and it should just blow the fuse without overheating the wires, instead of showing you another meaning of the term "scoot burnout"  ;D

(and it could even show you the meaning of "shed burnout" or "home burnout", depending on where you park your scoot...)
