From my experience, the MC16 works better in the wet then the MC20 which has that rain pattern.
Some people on various vespa forums might confirm that since some got their scoots with MC20 as
the 1st tire.
I've ridden with those in the wet and even some snow, it's a very popular choice around here.
The only thing is, they're fine for about 1,5-2 years tops, and then turn to plastic.
You'll never wear them out.
You can get the MC16 (and most other Sava tires) in racing medium and racing soft compounds too.
They're usually twice as expensive.
The MC29 is a great tire too, a lot more grip on dry tarmac, but probably not as good in the wet as the
MC16. Similar at best.
If you can afford to change tires once a year, you'll save a lot of money with MC16 compared to other
brands.
If you can't - spend more on Michelin City Grips and you're good for a longer period of time.
