Okay, does anybody have this issue? When I set the digital clock the time set and month/day set go as per instructions.  The clock then keeps perfect time from then on. However, if I set the calendar to 8/23 the next day the calendar reads 9/23! It wants to be September. Is this the month that Chaing  Ki-shek set up shop in Formosa and made it Tiawan and it is permanently celebrated in Kymco clocks? Just wondering...Len

I have the same issue, although the guy from the dealership set our clock. Such a weird phenomenon. So the odometer doesn't work right out of the gate and that's gonna get fixed per warranty. The bike got delivered with a scratched and dented left rear panel and since it happened in shipping that will be fixed too. One thing I've noticed is that with the LX model, all of the blue is actually a vinyl wrap. Weirder is that the front fender is a half shade lighter than the rest of the bike in terms of the blue. I would have thought that if they were doing a blue vinyl accent it would be cut from the same sheet.

Yeah that is a little strange about the lighter color on the fender. I had a tiny scratch on the lower leg shield and touched it up with model paint, no biggie. All in all I "like" the bike a lot. I just did an 80 mile ride to bring it in for first service. On the local state hwy 99 I ran 50-55 without much strain. The engine is getting smoother all the time and no issues with starting at all. I don't get the calendar deal must be a flaw in the clock chip.

Lardy, I'd hope so!  A 168cc fuel-injected engine?  My Honda PCX (125cc) does 60MPH, GPS. And gets an average of 96.0MPG!

As I said about 500 miles and still breaking in. There was throttle to go but I ain't using it yet. I want to wait til 1000 before full crank.

I have about 700 on mine now, it is still getting smoother.  I noticed my clock goes from 11 - 0 - 1  no 12 weird

Ok...So there "was" a Honda PCX 125 that was imported to the states, my bad. So you bought it used? What happened to my other questions? No Buddy? I thought they were the only scooter company that cares about their customers? Still think you're full of it myself. Just my 2 cents worth.

No; I bought the PCX new, with a full factory warranty. It was still in the crate when I first saw it. It was a rather impressive crate, too, I must say.

You, being the scooter-experienced guy you are, realize of course that buying brand new scooters from a few model years back is not uncommon, so I won't bring it up.

There is no authorized Genuine dealer in Nashville, presently.

Why move down to a Honda PCX125 from a Kymco People 250? The Honda is a damn fine scoot (no question!) I guess if you're smaller in stature, then 125cc would be ok, but why not move-up or @ least a lateral move.

Actually, I'm from a small town in eastern Kentucky, near the borders of Ohio & West Virginia, called Ashland. I've lived in Nashville, TN, for the past 18 years.

The People 250 I own, "Bad Penny," is under a carport-like structure, behind the LaVergne Water Treatment plant. I will, over time, rebuild it with some help from more mechanically-situated friends. That is to say, somewhere inside where I can store Bad Penny while the work commences slowly.

Why move "down"? Well, some 99% of my riding needs are satisfied by a 125cc scooter. Only once did I need to use interstates to get where I needed to be in a reasonable timeframe. Besides, Bad Penny will ride again. It may be 2014 by that time, but...

I had a air-cooled 163cc Kymco People S200 which I purchased brand new a few years back. Shouldn't have sold it! Simple engine & it was only 11.1HP, but was rock-soild to terms of reliabilty. I'm a bigger guy @ 6' 220 lbs. @ the time & she did fine by me! My wife & I rented 2-Buddy 125's (In Key West) for 10 days & even though the frame was tiny for me, it still got me around just fine. She loved it.

Well...W emay have our differences, but I say good luck with your new Honda. We just had a new Seaway 24' boat built over the Winter & took delivery two weeks before Memorial Day! Guess what's on the transom? Yup...A Honda BF150. BTW...This is our second BF150, as our last boat (2004 Eastern) had the same engine. Has given us "zero" problems.

My wife wants to scooter with me & I'm considering a Like 200i for her. Short money & it's kind of a "chick" looking scoot.

It's white. I'm about 207lbs., but the PCX is doing what other PCX owners report -- topping out at about 60MPH, or 9200 RPM (limited in the ECU), whichever comes first.  :) The specs I have found online say the PCX is 11.1HP... the same as that carbed 163cc Kymco you once owned...!  Wow.
