I know that's right.. I gotta have a bigger one myself.
I should have to have the biggest out of anybody being at 2225ft...(above sea level.

you can buy jets in a set of 3 I would just play it safe and buy the jets. And if you can get a bigger carb mine is the 19mm carb they do make a 20 I herd works well on the agilty. it gives you better take off and the top end gets there fast.

OK so I've got a customer that works on these scoots for a living in my area. He brought me another complete carb last night. I'm gonna check jet size in it before I put it on just to get scoot running somewhat right for now. Then the jet in my kymco carb I'll solder it back up & redrill it out one step at a time till I get jetting just right.
Drive it like you stole it! Lol......

Blue money is tight right now at my house. So since money short! We don't do much extra outside stuff. So I got plenty of free time on my hands to take my time with soldering & drilling main jet.

Understand that things are tough all over I try to get away cheap to if I can most of my parts this year I got from off used scoots.( craigslist) some things I trade other parts for parts.

Ok guys I put on another carb that had no modification to main jet or metering rod. Scooter still run same way if not worse! before it would pull itself to at 30 mph. Now it barely will hit 25. Still have K&N filter on it. Could I still not be jetted big enough?????

With the K&N you will prob need AT LEAST a 90 main jet so if its still got the 82/80 stock jet it wont ever run good and would run worse. If you still got the stock air box stick that back on and try it with the 80/82 jet and see if that works. If it does then its def the main jet is not matched to the k&N.

Or.......tape over about half of the open filter and this reduces the air in so it matches the jet you have in. If that works or if it runs better then again you know the main jet is too small for the filter. Take more tape off or put more on up to about 3/4 of the filter and if it works better then the main jet is def too small and thats is the problem.
