New Windshield - All the Way from France
« on: August 28, 2012, 09:40:43 PM »
I ordered a standard size 2006 black with clear gray shield on 8/18/12 for my 2013 XC500Ri ABS.  It arrived in perfect shape today.

The seller is Silverstonemotors in France.

Hey Vivo and Cortez - it's not a good idea to encourage immature behavior.  This is a forum concerning information about Kymco scooters so let's all try to keep it on an intelligent level.

Sorry I hurt you feelings. You have to be tougher that that on this forum. I thought I was making it look better. I do like the windshield though.

You didn't hurt my feelings - you just pissed me off a little that you took that much time to do a meaningless stunt.

My goal on this forum, and any other forum based upon an exchange of information, is to helpful and to try to keep the forum as bullsh** free as possible. Too many forums get hijacked by folks who add nothing but their own pettiness.

I don't know you are - but you're probably a pretty good guy - after all you ride a cool bike and that says something about you.

So - now we've shaken hands and we can move on.

You offended everyone, and it's too late to take it back.

You made us all feel immature, and that was uncalled for.

You should be ashamed of yourself, and your ugly dog, too.

First - I take back my apology.  I'm not ashamed of anything.

Second - when did you get to speak for "all of us"?

Third - "You made us all feel immature"?  How did I do that?  My comments were directed at one single poster.  But if I made you feel immature was it perhaps because my comment struck a chord with you?

Fourth - "My ugly dog"?  Well, that one is just too intelligent to respond to.

I started this string to let people know about an Ermax windshield from a supplier who could deliver it quickly.  Instead someone thought it was appropriate to post a negative comment about and a photoshopped, distorted, picture of my dog.

I pointed out that I thought this behavior was immature and that we should stay on topic - i.e. Kymco scooters.

You somehow felt the personal need to jump in as the self-appointed representative of "all of us" and add your two cents.

I made a good living arguing with smart people.  In this case there's no profit in this for me and well -- you know the rest.

I'm tired of this thread.
