Zard Exhaust
« on: August 31, 2012, 12:14:54 PM »
I have posted a video of the Zard Racing exhaust fitted to my DT on youtube, see the link below. Look forward to your comments/observations. I wanted to upgrade my scoot, thought about sliders but wanted something visible. Now I have both a cool looking exhaust plus increased acceleration and 8250rpm's and reached 150kph.

Do yourself a favor and get a set of 14gr sliders.
You'll be shocked how much faster the bike will be.

Mine dropped from 11 to 9 seconds in 0-60mph sprint.

Got the same result without the sliders. Took it to my dealer for a service and he was shocked at the improved performance 0 - 100 kms in 8.8 seconds

What does it sound like under a load? Much louder? Would' like an exhaust, but kind of find it fun when I drop the rpms and make it near silent, then pass by bicycles. Kind of freaks em out because they can't hear it. The LeoVince GranTurismo seems like it has a more mellow sound...Hard to tell for sure on youtube.

Its not that bad at low revs, get past the slight flat spot at 6000rpms and it sounds the business, certainly turns heads. It is also about 9kg lighter than the original exhaust and prettier.

I know you can't do it on the stand, but if you ever take a full throttle run sound clip, please post it.
