That weak mixture may be ok for general use but with you having running problems i would go for a stronger mix, my bottle says 100ml to a full tank 50 litre at every fill up which is fine to help keep the fuel system clean if use reguarly but at that weak mixture i doubt its going to remove any stuborn carbon deposits etc i would add at least 50ml if you want it to clean the fuel system through, i added 100ml and before i got through half the tank it was running and starting great so i then refuelled to start diluteing the mixture, the great thing about redex is it will clean not only the carburetor and the jets of dry fuel residue but also the carbon deposits off the valves and there seats, the exhaust and inlet ports and also the spark plug, im not normaly a fan of fuel and engine additives etc but i can definitly say over the years redex has sorted out a few running problems for me, i have never tried or seen sea foam for sale in the uk so dont know if it is pretty much the same. I once purchased a 1978 honda express 2 stroke that had not ran for years and was a battle to start and keep running it would not go over 10mph and constantly cut out kept it like that for a few months and just used it off road for fun but i then decided to try redex and with every mile it ran better and the next day it started first time, a few days later i put it in for its mot and it passed and turned into a great little reliable bike that i used every day for work thats what got me into scoots since then i have had about 12 different models. A few years ago all scotswere quite well made in europe now most are chinese crap my recent chinese built peugeot scoot was the worst i ever purchased ,kymco was the only scoot which seems still well made and has a genuine gy6 engine rather than the less reliable 139qmb that most other manufactures now use to cut costs....
