Like rookie said, keep the original boss and if you have any warranty issues just swap the stock one back in before you go to the dealers. Only thing he may wonder is why the variator is worn to the outer edge when a restricted variator boss wont allow this, so it may be worth buying a race variator too and swapping that to be extra safe? Or buy a Malossi Multivar which comes with the smooth boss and race variator as a kit?
Ive had no issues since derestricting, just usual wear and tear on cvt components that i would have whether i derestricted or not.
