Great review! Thanks.
I read some CS horror stories on some European scooter websites about the Piaggio and the BV350.
Besides the bigger underseat trunk and windshield, I think that the Kymco People GT300i is a better and more reliable machine.

Of course, they would give it a solid review ;-)
Next time you pass by, ask him if they heard of mufflers catching on fire.... not kidding!
Some people on MV can't even get an oil filter from dealers :-(

a nice scoot.
I like Piaggio and Aprilia motor scooters. Like their design and power weight ratio.

Whoever is top dog at Piaggio USA is destroying this company.

Dealer support is disappearing in all parts of this country.
Closest dealer to me WAS 120 miles away. Now GONE.

Parts getting harder to find.

Need to address simple problems that get owners panties in a knot like bad internal gas tank hoses etc..

We like and need choices. Scooters are getting more and more popular at a time when someone at the helm of Piaggio USA is destroying the company.

I owned a Vespa 300 GTS and a Kymco GT 300i.  When I bought my XC500 I sold the Vespa. IMHO the Kymco is a solid workhorse than easilly handles the heat and tough roads we enjoy here in Texas.

Boo: I looked into the Aprilla "SportCity 250" before I purchased my GT300i & there are three Aprilla dealers in Mass. When I called, two said they were dropping the line because of dealer support! That was enough for me to say..."Ok..Not Aprilla"

Aprilia is Piaggio....
Enough bashing of Piaggio, that's why we all got some Kymcos ;-)

There are no Aprilia dealers in my state and only two Vespa dealers. There are four Kymco dealers within 45 minutes of me.

Ludo: I know Aprilla is Piaggio/Vespa. Maybe you were being funny? I'm getting semi-old (47) Anyway...They do produce a great looking scoot! I'm thinking about buying an Agility 125 for my parents home in Stuart, FL. They are getting older now & I want to visit them more often. I would love a little 125cc+ to blow around town. I plan to visit them like 4 times a year (I do 2 times a year now)

I'm a tad worried....because the nearest Kymco dealer (Vero Beach, FL.) is 35 miles away. I called a Honda dealer (7 miles away) about a Honda PCX150 (which is FI & WC) But after all their nonsense fees ($245.00 Freight, $210.00 Dealer-Prep & $199.00 document fee) it's over $4500.00+ dollars w/ tax. I cannot justify spending that type of money for maybe 500 a miles a year (@ best)

I think I'm going with the economy Agility 125. Plus.....Tropical Scooters in Vero Beach, FL. sells the Agilty 125 for $1795.00 (That's $104.00 off of list price of $1899.00) I told them & I would write a personal check for the sale to get that discount. They will install a Shad 33 top-case & a Deltran Battery Tender Jr. for an extra $175.00 (installed) Not bad IMHO!

My dealer has them for $1699. Their retail price is $1799.

Old Geezer: Sorry the Kymco 2012 retails @ $1899.00 as per the Kymco website:

http://www.kymcousa.com/showroom/scooters/agility125/index.html

I feel lucky I found a dealer that would discount (@ all) an Agility 125!

The Agility factory MSRP is $1899. Castle Powersports chooses to retail them @ $1799 and discount them @ $1699.

Have a good one.

Well...Maybe because you are in the middle of the USA, you get great pricing. But...I'm happy @ $1795.00! For a fairly-soild 125cc scoot, that's a steal!

Plus...This dealer only charges $195.00 for freight & prep, plus will deliver the scoot (35 miles away) for free to my parents home. I called her this afternoon to pull the trigger.

Sorry, I have bought two Kymcos from this dealer and did not pay any fees, with the exception of a $94.50 doc fee and tax, title and license. Motorcycle License in my state is $14.50 a year. I guess I'm lucky to live where I do. I have heard of some ridiculous add ons on the left coast.

Oh yeah, Thats a nice little scooter. Hope you enjoy it.
